Terms of service

Last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy from meowmanagement.com. Please read them before you order. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

Meow Management is a trading name of Joanne Briggs, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

  • Address: Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA, United Kingdom
  • Email: hello@meowmanagement.com

"We", "us" and "our" mean Meow Management (Joanne Briggs). "You" means the person buying from us.

2. Our products

Our clothing, mugs and totes are printed on demand and made to order for us by our print partner, Printful, once you place your order.

We try to show every product accurately. Colours on screen can vary slightly from the finished item, and because each item is printed individually, small variations in print placement are normal. This doesn't affect your right to receive goods that match their description.

Please check the size guide on each product page before you order.

3. Your order and our contract with you

  1. When you place an order, you're offering to buy the items. We'll email you to confirm we've received your order. That email does not mean we've accepted it.
  2. Our contract with you starts when we email you to confirm your order has been dispatched.
  3. We take payment when you place your order. If we can't accept your order (for example because an item is unavailable or there's an obvious pricing error), we'll tell you and refund you in full as soon as possible, and within 14 days at most.
  4. Our products are for personal use. If you're buying as a business, contact us first.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown and charged in pounds sterling (GBP). If your browser shows another currency, that's an estimate, and your card provider's exchange rate applies.
  • We are not VAT-registered, so we don't charge VAT. The price you see is the price you pay for the item.
  • Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. If we've made an obvious pricing mistake, we'll contact you before dispatch and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Delivery

  • Our Shipping Policy gives our production and delivery times and the countries we deliver to. These are estimates, not guarantees.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you when they're delivered to you, or to someone you've nominated to receive them. Until then, they're our responsibility. Ownership passes to you when we've received full payment.
  • If you give us an incorrect or incomplete address, we're treated as having delivered once the item reaches the address you gave us.
  • If your order is significantly late: if your order hasn't arrived within 30 days after the end of the estimated delivery time, or by a delivery date we agreed was essential, you can cancel it. Email hello@meowmanagement.com and we'll refund you in full for anything not delivered, including delivery charges. This doesn't limit your other rights for late delivery.
  • If an event outside our reasonable control (for example severe weather or a carrier strike) delays your order, we'll let you know and do what we can to reduce the delay. If the delay becomes significant, you can still cancel as above.

6. Cancellations, returns, refunds and faulty items

Our Refund Policy explains how to report a problem with an order and what we'll do about damaged, faulty or incorrect items. It forms part of these terms.

Nothing in these terms or in our Refund Policy affects your statutory rights. If there's ever any difference between our policies and the law, your legal rights apply.

7. Your statutory rights

We're legally required to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, as set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in these terms takes away or limits those rights.

For free, independent advice on your rights, contact Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk, or 0808 223 1133 in England and Wales) or Consumer Advice Scotland.

8. Our responsibility to you

  1. If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when the contract was made.
  2. We aren't responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, for loss you could have avoided by taking reasonable steps, or for business losses such as loss of profit or business opportunity. Our products are for personal and household use.
  3. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for: - death or personal injury caused by our negligence - fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation - breach of your statutory rights as a consumer - defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987

9. Our designs and website content

All designs, artwork, slogans, text, images and logos on our website and products belong to Meow Management or are licensed to us. You're welcome to buy, wear, use and gift our products. You may not copy, reproduce, sell or commercially use our designs or content without our written permission.

10. Using our website

Please use our website lawfully. Don't try to interfere with it, copy or scrape it, or upload anything harmful, offensive or that infringes someone else's rights.

If you post a review or send us feedback, you allow us to use and display it on our website and social media. We may decline or remove reviews that are unlawful, offensive or not about the product, but we won't remove genuine reviews just because they're negative.

Our website runs on Shopify and may link to other sites. We're not responsible for the content of third-party websites.

11. Your personal information

We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Complaints and disputes

If you're unhappy with anything, please email hello@meowmanagement.com. We aim to reply within 2 working days and to resolve complaints as quickly as we can.

Alternative dispute resolution (ADR): if we can't resolve your complaint, you may be able to use an independent ADR provider. We are not currently a member of an ADR scheme and are not obliged to use one, but we'll tell you about a suitable approved ADR provider if we can't resolve your complaint. You can still go to court.

Online dispute resolution (ODR): the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform closed in July 2025 and was no longer available to UK traders after Brexit, so we don't use it.

13. Which law applies and where you can bring claims

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, in Scotland or Northern Ireland.

If you live outside the UK, you may also have the protection of mandatory consumer laws where you live.

14. Other important terms

  • We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
  • If a court decides part of these terms is unlawful, the rest still applies.
  • If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another business, but this won't reduce your rights. You need our agreement to transfer yours.
  • Only you and we have rights under this contract.
