Meow Management started with four cats, too much coffee, and a wardrobe that had stopped pretending cat hair was temporary. I wanted clothes and everyday bits that felt like actual cat-mum life: funny, cosy, a little chaotic, and made for people whose homes are run by someone with whiskers.
Henny is our fluffy tortoiseshell tuxedo and resident drama queen. Inky is the chunky black-and-white sweetheart. Pepper was a dilute calico who passed from cancer at 7; I bottle-fed her from 4 weeks old, and she became a tender lap-sitting cat who followed her favourite people everywhere. Her bonded sister Button was a grey tuxedo who passed at 13. She was rather feral and didn’t really like humans except me, though she grew more mellow over the years and loved getting under the duvet to sleep beside me.
I’m a coffee-loving, book-reading cat mum, so iced coffee, quiet corners and one more chapter tend to turn up everywhere around here. I used to write books myself a few years ago, and I still love words, stories and the odd bit of overthinking. Meow Management is where all of that meets cat hair, comfy clothes and the daily question of who is actually in charge.
